Multicultural Art Workshop

The World Community Village

closedRegistrations are

In The World Community Village, participants of all ages are invited to decorate a cardboard house with drawings, words and symbols that reflect their family, heritage and cultural values. Once complete, all houses will be joined together to form a collective mural — a joyful symbol of unity across cultures.

This year, as Afghanistan is the featured country at the Cultural Expressions Festival, visitors are especially encouraged to incorporate Afghan-inspired elements — such as traditional patterns and colours — to honour its rich cultural heritage. This hands-on activity welcomes everyone to help build our vibrant World Community Village.
