Weave Your Own Tapestries of Unity

In our "Weave Your Own Tapestries of Unity" workshop, participants embark on a creative journey to celebrate the diversity of our world, creating a rich tapestry that emphasizes the equal value of all its threads, regardless of color. Engaging with the themes of climate and creativity, participants will craft their own piece of a larger tapestry by decorating wooden craft sticks. These adorned sticks will then be assembled into a collective tapestry wall hanging, symbolizing the interconnectedness of cultures and our shared responsibility toward the planet. This hands-on workshop not only fosters an appreciation for global textile heritage but also serves as a vibrant reminder of our role in crafting a sustainable and inclusive future. The workshop will be facilitated by the Multicultural Association of Fredericton Inc. as part of the Cultural Expressions Festival.
